Early life & Education

Chiege Alisigwe hails from Umueshigwe in Orlu in Imo State but she grew up in Enugu.

The actress revealed that her parents were quite strict when she was growing up but she’s grateful to them for it although she didn’t like it back then.

She had her primary and secondary school education in Enugu.

Chiege attended Queens School Enugu where she was a member of the Dramatic Society.

After she left secondary school in 1996, while waiting for her JAMB result, she got introduced into Nollywood by a family friend.

Chiege later enrolled at the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu where she studied Fine and Applied Arts.

Chiege completed her National Youth Service Corps in 2006.

Career
